We are very excited to announce two new projects in conjunction with Third Man Books. Run by Chet Weise and Ben Swank ,TMB is the publishing imprint of musician Jack White’s Third Man Records. Director of Development for Mní Wičhóni Nakíčižiŋ Owáyawa, April Rain, met with Chet at the publisher’s Nashville office early last week to finalize the plans for these exciting endeavors.
Set to launch today, Third Man Books’ website will feature a page dedicated to exhibiting work, across various media, created by our students and volunteers. This forum will allow our students’ voices to be heard the world over. This is an amazing opportunity and we are extremely grateful to Chet and the entire Third Man team. Once the page is live you will be able to access it through our website, as well a thirdmanbooks.com.
In addition, Third Man Books has graciously offered to sell a t-shirt through their online store to raise funds for our program. April and Chet worked with Jessie Yohn from Third Man’s art department to create an amazing, school approved design that are be printed on blue organic cotton shirts. Order your shirts to support our program here.
These projects will help support our incredible teachers and students on the ground. Teresa, Blaze, and Jose work around the clock to help provide support to the families choosing home education while they are at the NODAPL camps. Learn more about our school, started by Alayna Eagle Shield, on this page, Facebook, and Twitter. Thank you for your continued support of our program.
